Rach advises us with shaping our sauna & cold plunge guidelines to be a safe and enjoyable experience.

Rach has lived in Southsea for the last 9 years and is a seasoned cold water ‘dipper’ & open water swimmer.

With an academic background in Biosciences & Public Health, and a plethora of past experience in teaching swimming, instructing watersports and facilitating health improvement groups – her experience is a great asset for us at Southsea Sauna.

During a period of struggling with her health, Rach herself complemented a holistic health approach with cold water immersion. When chronic pain, fatigue, depression and anxiety were debilitating it provided much needed relief. Now fully recovered from chronic illness, Rach is passionate about cold and contrast practices in supporting health improvement.

Rach has trained in Thermalist Education and will be teaching about the science behind and benefits of hot/cold practices as one of our collaborators for upcoming events at Southsea Sauna.

Our sauna is of course connect to the Southsea beach café and we wouldn’t be able to offer the experiences we do without their continued daily hard work.
